I have it as well, and I cannot remember the last time I watched it. I might as well get rid of it now, as there is no way that I will watch a non-anamorphic DVD if there is an anamorphic one available.

Do you have any success selling old discs like that, or do you just use them as coasters?

Anything decent I trade in at Amazon, since I buy most of my new discs there. Everything else I take to the local Toyriffic and get the best credit that I can toward the occasional PS3 game purchase.

That reminds me: I do have a growing stack of trade-ins I need to deal with.

Hmmm. I will have to look into trade-in options. I suppose if I am not going to view the disc, anything is better than nothing.

Amazon will take many "decent" editions, but they would probably not accept your old Great Escape disc. But there must be some used game/CD stores around you. A few bucks is better than nothing.

Yes, there are. I will stop by and check them out. Of course, those stores are always a danger to go into. I will likely end up spending more than I get!

That is the problem. Even if I only get $10 worth of credit, that does not stop me from grabbing $100 worth of new stuff!

Bad idea -- we would just end up buying each other's stuff.

No.

The alternative is that we would encourage each other to buy more stuff. Still, at least we been doing so in a positive, supportive way.

I was actually going to give my Bond DVD sets to my father, but Amazon made a better offer. I used the funds for buying the Blu-Rays. (Then, of course, it stopped.)

I want the nine remaining Bonds too! (Actually, there are likely only three that I really want, but I need to have the complete set.)

According to Bill Hunt's sources, the remaining Bonds are still being held until the next Bond film reaches the theatre. Given the problems involved making that happen, I am not going to hold my breath.

Ah, if only I had not already done that recently . . . I suppose that I can restart some of John Gardner's. And I have never read any of the other "new" Bond authors.

I know. I did like Gardner's first two books, but they rapidly deteriorated after that.
