It's like anything: It depends on what you do with what you've got. Some of those degrees are bit narrow in terms of what you can do with them. But others aren't necessarily bad. I'm sure many of the folks on HGTV are doing just fine with their interior design degrees; the graphics artists working in Hollywood probably aren't doing too badly if their any good at what they do; Gordon Ramsey is doing just fine with his culinary degree.

...agreed, it depends on what you do with what you've got, ...that reminds me to call the painter.

Like my classic story; I know a music major who is now teaching deaf students.

While they weren't completely deaf, if Beethoven, Townshend and George Martin are examples of what deaf people can contribute to the music industry, all the power to them.

Look at it this way; you are prepared for round 2. Make yourself indispensable in the meantime!

Agreed, there is money in plumbing. However it depends where/ if you specialize; eq. working in construction or doing (Rescue) repairs, ...some of the work is quiet nasty.

Just think, in five days you can go on Small World!

Why was the park closed? Seems a bit odd that it'd be closed over summer.

Banned, never, ...I'm beloved.

Disneyland wasn't closed, just blacked out for me. We have annual passes that don't do summer months. Which is OK, since I don't really enjoy to much of a crowd or the heat. We counter program with other parks, and vacation trips.

Hi-Jack!!!!

I could start a real retirement countdown but then I'd have to keep it going for 5 years and I'm just not that reliable

Besides, it would make the next five years feel like five years . . .

PO:

I was thinking of the Malcom in the Middle episode where they are on vacation and it cuts to the dad standing outside a theme park talking to a security guard and saying, "When you say 'lifetime' ban, just whose lifetime do you mean?"
