Intel Pentium M 1.4GHz Processor
512MB PC2700 DDR Memory
40GB 5,400rpm Hard Drive
4x DVD+RW Optical Drive
15.4" WXGA+ (1280x800) Wide-Screen LCD and ATI Radeon Mobility 9600 Pro with 128MB Dedicated Memory
Envy 3D AC'97 Audio
v.92 56Kbps Modem, 10/100 Ethernet and 802.11b/g Wireless
Three USB 2.0 Ports and One Type II PC Card Slot
13.9" x 9.8" x 1.1" @ 6.5 lbs.

Does that look about right on the original specs? Doing some model research right now. If I get some overtime in maybe we can work something out.

Yeah, I think those were the original specs..

The motherboard was a Mitac 8050D, and it was also used in Fujitsu Amilo M1420, Mitac 8050(ofc) and I think in Packard Bell Easynote R1 and R4..

For some reason I really like the white voodoo's, but still hate white mac books, lol. Go figure.

I don't remember exactly what I paid for it, I think it was around 320$.. Hoping to get somewhere near that amount, but feel free to make an offer.

Doing more looking on the motherboard and good god there is a lot of revisions to that board. Less than 5 minutes of looking and found 6 different revisions.

Have done a lot of research myself, and I'm 90% sure it is the Mitac 8050D that was used in this Envy.

mainly little stuff on the envy 133 like motherboard repair, upgrades, etc.

I'd really like to find any paint info on them. I called fort collins and they have no info on how voodoo painted the 133s which is really what im curious about.

sweet I'd like to know if a standard 133 could be painted. My gut tells me that the few that were painted came to voodoo without a clearcoat on them.

Desktop cases were supplied to them pretreated in the BAM finish from lian li and other vendors. The allure paint jobs on the desktops and laptops were done in house by voodoopc.

Getting all of that kind of information together and posting it here would go a long way towards keeping these boards alive . . . There have to be others still out there who play with these things. (Hell, an Atari 2600 cartridge just sold for $33,000, so ten-year old Voodoos should have plenty of life left in them!)

I am sure there are several more tweaks to make them live longer we can do also. Since I have done the dual core idol upgrade I have looked at getting a 965 chipset aopen model to upgrade the next one with. Needs an voodoo style paint job too.

I have been wanting to get a cheap compressor and paintgun, Might see what harbor freight has when I get some extra cash. Between painting parts for my car to modding pcs its uses seem endless.

If you want to do it on the cheap you can get rattle cans of automotive paint and get nearly the same quality as if you were using a compressor and a paintgun. I did A LOT of research on this. I was thing about painting a lenovo X300 but with my work I couldnt find the time. As long as you do the prep right you will still have an awesome job with the cans.
